Anna Anderson, Chapter 5, Question #1

I thought that the part about healthcare was interesting. As someone with a variety of health issues, insurance is something that I need to have, otherwise my family (and later in life, me) would pay a lot of money for all my medication. The system set up right now, where they charge a little more than the average cost for one person, benefits me a lot, because who knows how much I would have to spend on meds otherwise. That being said, if you looked at the average 18 year old girl, I'm sure she would be spending less on medical bills on average than I, so they end up paying more for their insurance. I didn't know that this was a thing, and that this was how it worked, but it ends up affecting my life a lot more than I realized.
