Mitchell Koeckeritz, chapter 5, question 1
In chapter 5, the beginning of the chapter was mostly about rational discrimination. I Found this topic interesting because pretty soon I will need to get a real job and that will come with the competition of many other people applying for the same position. Rational discrimination will affect me directly even though in the book I would be part of the population of people more likely to be hired when less information is available. White and male. This isn't necessarily the way it should be and it should change in the future. More information should be available if apllicants are willing to give it up if it will help them. The laws in place allowing people to maintain privacy seem like a right everyone should have although if giving that information would help, it should be allowed.
