Gabbi Johnson, Chapter 4, Question 5

One point that I found very interesting was that services that only the government provide don't have much incentive to attract custumers because there is no competition. Wheels used the example of the DMV. Every single citizen with a drivers lisence is required to go there just to sit and wait in a long line. No matter how rude the workers are or gross the building is, everyone still has to go there. But this cannot go to a private business because all citizens need to have the same lisences. However, in the case of the post office, there is competition now with UPS and fedex. I wouldn't be surprised if the private businesses became more prominent and widely used than the US post office.
